• Food Grade and Seeds Soybeans We research, produce, process and export food grade soybeans mainly to Japan. Our varieties have relatively large seed size and high protein. These characteristics were specially bred because the quality conscious Japanese customers prefer such beans. High protein is essential for processing soybeans for superior textured tofu, the main soybean food item in Japan. In addition, most of these varieties have attractive seed colour, seed shine and smooth seed coat. We produce high quality breeders’ seeds and supply to our contract growers. They produce these beans organically and send us regular updates about the crop progress. ![]() • Dry Beans or Pulses We also produce dry beans or pulses such as Kidney, Adzuki, Navy, Cranberry and Black Turtle Beans. Plans are underway to include Chickpeas or Garbanzo Beans. Pulses are used in the Orient, Africa and South America in many ways. However, in North America and Europe their use is generally limited to soups and salads. These are rich sources of soluble and insoluble fibers, proteins, complex carbohydrates, minerals, vitamins and phytochemicals. These are especially valued for their low fat content and absence of cholesterol. Thus, their consumption helps reduce weight, plasma cholesterol and blood sugar levels, three most important health problems, faced by affluent societies.
